After a number of years working in the private sector, I decided that an opportunity to be my own boss and work from the comfort of my own home was too good an opportunity to miss. Thus, Rousseau Associates was born!

I decided to develop the company due to a slight obsession for all things spreadsheets. In addition to a love of science fiction, running, cycling and an eclectic taste in music, I also thoroughly enjoy working with people to help provide solutions that make their lives easier.

With a background in Accountancy and several years of working in Resource Planning for a major UK bank, I felt this experience could be utilised across a broad number of industries and functions within business.

Whilst looking for a name for the business I ended up on a quotations website and discovered some quotes by an 18th Century philosopher called Jean-Jacques Rousseau.  Two of his quotations in particular appealed to me –

‘The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless’

‘What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness’

Simply put, because I liked his quotes I borrowed his name for my business!

So, with a wealth of creativity and a streak of perfectionism, I find satisfaction in discovering and providing effective business solutions. Throughout all my projects, I apply my forensic attention to detail to find the right solutions that will add value to your business.

I like challenges and ways to increase the breadth of my experience that can ultimately help me help you make the most of your business. Having worked in a number of different industries from hospitality to engineering, I am familiar with the needs associated with numerous business models. Plus, since Rousseau Associates is a one-man show, you’ll always be working with the boss!
